How to Download Medal Clips on iPhone
Use Medal’s owner controls when the clip is in your library, or save the available MP4 from a public share link in Safari.
Download from the Medal iOS app
The official app is the best starting point for clips in your own library because it knows your ownership and account permissions. Menu wording can change between app releases, but the download control is normally available from the clip options.
- Open Medal and go to your clip library.
- Open the clip, then tap its options button or long-press the clip card.
- Choose Download when it is available.
- Allow the app to save the file when iOS asks for photo or file access.
Save a public Medal link with Safari
If you have a public medal.tv URL, Fragbeam can check the page for the available MP4 source. Safari may play that file instead of immediately placing it in Downloads.
- Copy the full public clip URL from Medal or the share sheet.
- Open the Fragbeam clip downloader and paste the link.
- Tap Download MP4 after the source is ready.
- If Safari opens the video, use Share and choose Save to Files. From Files, you can also save a copy to Photos when needed.
Where the clip goes on iPhone
Safari downloads normally appear in the Downloads folder inside the Files app. The location can be iCloud Drive or On My iPhone depending on your Safari settings. A video saved through the Photos option appears in the Photos library instead.
If you cannot find the file, open Safari’s download list or search the Files app for recent MP4 files. Moving the clip into a named folder makes it easier to find later for editing or sharing.
